How Elections Work: The main gameplay mechanic aside from the usual VN stuff is Elections. These are basically segments in which you go through a bunch of dialogue in a form reminiscent of text messages and, when prompted, decide whether or not to "check" a certain piece of dialogue. If you check it, it will be added to your list of choices when you are allowed to make a choice to fight back. This guide is laid out so that you only check the choices that are relevant, ignoring any that are not. Also, every decision is on a timer and the text is always on auto (albeit at a glacial pace) except when a normal VN text box is shown, so you will have to pay attention during these segments.

NOTE Regarding Elections: It is not possible to pause during elections. You can circumvent this on the Vita version by pressing the :psbutton button as this forces the game to pause, but you cannot do this on the PS4 version. That said, if you need a break for whatever reason, the game does not move when a regular text box is up. This will generally happen soon after you've made the last choice for a phase, but before you move on to the next.

NOTE Regarding Choices: Truth be told, a vast majority of the choices in this game have no bearing on the platinum since you only have to clear the two routes and kill off everyone via the ninth election one by one. The choices within this guide are simply the ones recommended by H1G's Exile Election wiki. For the purpose of highlighting which choices matter, all relevant choices in the Free Time sections have been highlighted blue like this (every choice matters in Elections).

So now since we have KR/CN I think it is easier to mention:

Instead:

"Also, stay away from データ室 (Korean 기료실)"

Like:

"Stay away from the top of middle tower of the castle"

Then:

"Locations up to and including 選挙部屋"

Better:

"Locations up to left top tower of the castle".

Thanks for the guide! :)

Great Guide Walter  :thumbsup

It's definitely more of a 2-3 hour plat though, people would have to really screw up to get it closer to 4 :D
