It's Newt's birthday which means it's time to celebrate! With a new outfit from the Elder's, what better way to start the party than by sharing thanks for the gift. The only problem is, the Elders have all disappeared! Without them around, the world will go into a Great Slumber as the music and color of the world will begin to fade. It'll be up to Newt to return vibrancy to the realms and rescue the Elders! Touch the world to return color to the world, pick up Music Notes to return music to the air, all while rescuing Parrots and locating magical wands that will aid in transforming the realms to their natural, happy state. Complete challenges in each level to earn yourself over 100 badges throughout the game and, when you're ready, take on the Rite of Passage to prove to the Elders that Newt is one of honor.
Step 1: Play the game!
There are a total of 24 levels across 4 realms that you'll need to finish. Each level has 5 badges associated with them: 100% the level (return all the color), Collect all the Music Notes, Rescue the Parrot, Don't Fall (off the edge), and get the other 4 badges all in one go. You DO NOT NEED all of these for the platinum!
You really only need to pay attention to the "Parrot" badge for each trophy as you will need to rescue all of the Parrots for a handful of trophies. Outside of that, the badges aren't required so just make sure you're collecting all the Music Notes you come across and you'll undoubtedly unlock all of the costumes before you finish the game. There are 4 Wands you need to be on the lookout for (1 in each of the Realms) - these are NOT story related and can be missed, so please see those individual trophies for more information on their locations.
Outside of those, everything else is going to be story related, so just play the game at your own leisure. If you miss any of the Parrots or Wands by the time you finish the game, you can clean those up afterwards by returning to the level needed in the main hub.
