Edna & Harvey: The Breakout ~ Trophy Walkthrough

Video Guides of this walkthrough are fine as long as I am credited in the video and the Guide linked to!

 

While Edna can move about freely, you don't have a free-roaming cursor – the right stick just goes between hotspots already visible on screen. Keep an eye on the lower left corner to know what hotspot is currently selected.

 

When on a hotspot, hold down X to bring up a context window – look, use, pick up, etc. This is also how you will use inventory items with the hotspot. To switch active inventory items, use L2 to bring up your inventory, or L1/R1 to scroll between the items.

 

Out of habit, I wrote “pick up” in this walkthrough, but the term the game often uses is “take”

 

For some odd reason, sometimes the trophies won't unlock until you move Edna, so if you do an action and the trophy does not immediately unlock, move Edna around a bit and it should. None of the trophies are glitched.

 

Pressing Circle makes the dialogue go quicker

 

For a few of these trophies, there's more objects that the items can be used on. If for some reason they don't pop when I say they do, keep using the items (pen/ketchup/mustard/comic book) on random stuff until they do. But they should all pop when I say they do.

Take chair leg

Use chair leg with table – get broken chair leg

Use broken chair leg with top left pad on the back wall – you should see a deep gash and it will read “torn-up pad” instead of just “pad”. It doesn't matter if any of the other pads are cut, but the one I've listed is the one required for progression.

Quickly enter the storage room and go out the window

After a second, the guard will poke his head out of the window and threaten you

Go around the roof and enter the grate, go through the chute into Marcel's Office, and exit into the Hallway

Use the column to move it

Use encyclopedia with column – Cellfree  :silver  unlocked

Exit down the hallway, and downstairs once

 

3F Hallway

Enter door next to stairs

 

Security Room

Exit back to 3F Hallway, then go downstairs until you can't go downstairs anymore

Look at bulletin on right door (it's about spoons)

Use bulletin on right door – Edna and Harvey should have a conversation about the bulletin not working that way – there's a chance that Workeress :gold  will unlock early here. Don't worry if it doesn't; there's still one more intended requirement for this trophy.

These hotspots are really close together – don't be afraid to walk around to make sure you've chosen the right one

Enter left door (it's an interrogation room), turn on the light switch, and go back into the hallway

Enter bottom right door

There are three sinks in this room. Use ketchup and mustard with all three.

Exit back to 2F Hallway, then exit via double doors down the hallway

 

Lots of Beds

Click the bed the two men are on

Use pinking shears on Hoti and Moti

Talk to Hoti and Moti

Exit back to 2F Hallway, enter top right door, and get on the laundry lift

 

Talk to Mr Frock

You will see a cutscene of Edna going across the basement laundry room

Let the traveling animation play another minute or two and you'll end up at 1F Laundry Lift – Liftgirl :silver  unlocked

Get back on laundry lift and take it to the next stop (which is 1F)

Use chips with blanket

Exit back to Laundry Lift and get back on

This time, when passing through the basement laundry room, click the blanket on the floor to drop off. If you miss it, just cycle through again.

Take Laundry Lift for two stops, so you're in the basement laundry room (don't forget that you need to manually exit when in the basement)

HOWEVER, while you're on the laundry lift this time, use ketchup with Mr Frock (this just saves time later)

Go up the ladder and exit to the basement corridor

We are going to put the rocks in specific locations. There are five rows and columns, and we need a rock in one of each. Keep the rocks in the columns they're already in; just change which row they're in. Some of the rocks may already be in the correct spots.

Put the first rock in the bottom left corner of the garden

Put the second rock in the third row

Put the third rock in the top row

Put the fourth rock in the second row

Put the fifth rock in the fourth row

Use the rake – Edna should say “it emanates an incredible calm”

Back out

 

Exit around the house until you're back at the limousine

Use wrench with limousine to set the alarm off

Quickly go back inside via back door

Exit down to Ground Floor (if the driver is blocking the stairs, set the limo alarm off again)

Go up to 2F Hallway

Use master key on the lock

Go down the hallway and enter the bottom right door

The order is important here – consider making a save just in case you mess up. You only get one shot at this, I believe.

You need to pick the ace of hearts three times in a row. To do so, click on a card and watch Hoti (the blond guy). If his eyes look all around, that's the correct card. If they don't, move on to the next card. When you have the correct card, click it again to choose it and move to the next round. After three wins in a row, Edna will get an electric shock.

Use playground, then circus, then merry-go-round with Edna
merry-go-round = Ferris Wheel

Exit to Basement Corridor, up both sets of stairs, and exit via left door to Kitchen

Go all the way downstairs to Ground Floor (if the driver is there, do the bubble gum thing again), then through the back door and
