Awesome tip from Ferry to save almost 2h on plat time !
While in the game, push left stick upwards and hold it then press X => choose the left option. This is to Scene Skip
This is a very simple VN with some timed choices that gives you plenty of time to select and puts you back before the choices if you failed. TL;DR Nothing to worry about here.

Elections Gameplay
When you get to an election, a bunch of keywords will pop on the screen. You can slow down time with L2 and need to select the correct keyword and hold X on it. You have around 2m to do so and any incorrect answer will reduce the timer faster (won't be mentioned again). If you ever fail them, simply continue skipping and it will restart.
Attributes
You'll often have to to raise one of three attributes: Appearance (blue), Education (green) or Spirit (red).Simply select the correct one when mentioned. Due to route requirements, a minimum of 3 full playthroughs will be required to clear the 5 routes.

BTW the game has scene-skip function which can cut down the plat time to ~40min

I had also an extra election between these two in the last playthrough
