BLASTING AGENT: ULTIMATE EDITION TROPHY GUIDE & ROAD MAP

Overview

Stacks:
PS4/PSVita :eu:
PS4/PSVita :us: - cross-buy -
Difficulty: 3/10
Offline: 25 (1 :plat 6 :gold 12 :silver 6 :bronze)
Online: N/A

Time: 3-7 Hours
Minimum number of playthroughs: 2
Does difficulty affect trophies: Yes. You must play through on hard once.
Missable trophies: 12 (see step 1 & 2)

ROAD MAP

Step 1: 90% run

Your first playthrough will be on normal (it says easy in-game).
Once you finished the game for the first time you'll unlock hard mode as well as a new character.
Each normal level is tied to an upgrade. You'll have to finish each level with 90% enemies killed and 90% gold found.
There're 2 indicators at the top right screen that show the percentage you have.
Once you have finished a level with said 90% you'll unlock the level and the upgrade trophy. (Level trophy pops regardless of percentage)
Make sure to grab each weapon and health upgrade as they make your life easier.

Missable trophies: If you dont finish a level with said 90% you'll miss out on the upgrade trophy and you'll have to do the level again.

Step 2: 100% run

Now that you've unlocked hard mode it's time for the 2nd run.
This time every level has to be done 100% enemy and gold-wise.
Make sure to pick the new character (Sting) for the playthrough. He has no weapon but his melee attack makes him able to run into enemies and bullets without taking damage.
Each of the hard levels is tied to a new costume. Same as the normal run, finish the level with 100% and you'll unlock both costume and level trophies.
Note that costumes are useless as they're for the Blasting Agent character, not the melee character.

Missable trophies: If you dont finish a level with said 100% you'll miss out on the costume trophy and you'll have to do the level again.

TIPS

•Each level consists of different rooms. The doors to the rooms are your savepoints.
If you kill enemies in a room and they kill you, all enemies will be back once you respawn.
For the hard run, make sure to go back through a door to save. It will make the hard run much easier.

•Sometimes enemies will run off the screen or into lava where cant reach them. Just go back to a previous room and they'll be in their original place.

•The flying enemies can be a pain sometimes on hard mode.
To easily take them out jump/double jump close to them, press up and whatever button you have assigned to shoot/melee.
This will make your character do a spin which will kill the enemy after a few times.
This also works for when you stand underneath a platform where an enemy is on top. ;)

•On the main menu, click "Medals" to see which upgrade/costume you're missing. You can also what upgrade you want to use etc.

I'd assume it's the unlock trophies that are missable if you don't meet the 90%/100% requirements.

Both upgrades and costumes are technically missable if you dont finish the levels with 90% or 100%. Thats what I meant. I can change that tho if you want. ;)

How long is the game?

It's actually pretty short. The levels are not long, like 10 mins each level.
Hard mode will take the longest cause of constant running back to a door to save.
Fastest time is 2,5 hours.
I'd say this is easily done within a few hours.
It gets easier the more you play it.

I think difficulty is a bit personal with this game. Cause its not hard. But its no walk in the park either, just because of the fact the 'hard' playthrough gets annoying level 3 and up. Mostly due to the flying creatures.

I would say 3/10 tops. But I can imagine Hakoom being super frustrated at some points, and can also imagine skroq who completed games like velocity experiencing this as 1/10 ;)

Yeah, I thought the more often you played it the easier it got.
Still need to do the US version but this will be the easiest for me then I guess.
