Siegecraft Commander Trophy Guide and Roadmap
 
 
Overview:

Introduction: This is a strategy game from Blowfish Studios that offers both real-time and turn-based styles of play, though for the purposes of the plat, you will be playing in real-time mode and the guide is written assuming that you will only use this mode.
 
The gameplay revolves around building towers to get closer and closer to the opponent’s keep (central base) and eventually destroy it. There’s a twist however: rather than towers being separate from one another, towers are instead built by literally launching the materials in a direction away from the tower doing the building. Once the materials hit the ground, the tower is built and is linked to the tower that built it, forming a hierarchy of sorts between towers. This hierarchy is important as if a tower higher up in the hierarchy gets destroyed, every tower below it gets destroyed in turn. For example, if you used one towers to build a few other towers that are all linked to it, destroying the tower that made all of them would cause them all to be destroyed. Depending on the building type, you can also launch projectiles from your building to harm other towers. The types of towers you can build range from outposts, which are useful for chain extension, to specialty towers that have specific purposes and should generally be built towards the end of a chain or as an offshoot from an existing outpost.
 
While this may sound complicated at first, it ends up being rather simple once you understand it, at least as far as getting the platinum is concerned. Overall, the platinum can easily be gotten in a matter of an hour, with only a couple trophies that may be a bit of a bother, though even those ones aren’t that bad anyway.
 
Step 0: Get Used to the Game (Optional): While there are no trophies for the campaign, I highly recommend playing at least the first stage as it is a tutorial that will get you used to how the game works, which will make the guide much easier to understand.
 
Step 1: Human-Specific Trophies: In this stage, you will want to earn every trophy that requires you to play as humans. See individual trophies for details.

  • Gibbed :gold
  • Blitzkrieg :gold
  • Winter War :gold

Step 2: Lizard-Specific Trophies: In this stage, you will want to earn every trophy that requires you to play as lizards. See individual trophies for details.

Step 3: Non-Specific Trophies: Now you should just need any of the non-specific trophies that you may have missed along the way. Once again, see individual trophies for details.

Crashed air units into each other
 
Player: ​Any
Enemy: ​Any​​​​​​

For this, you first want to create a chain of outposts such that one of them is in a gold circle as this is required to create air units. Then, you will want to choose any two outposts and spawn an armoury/workshop from each of them. Afterwards, have each one fire off an airship/dirigible so that they are flying into each other. They should then collide, giving you the trophy.

This one can be a pain simply because the target to aim at is fairly small and you'll have to use a trebuchet to get the TNT high enough, which makes things more frustrating.
 
First, you will want the opponent to build outposts until they get one in a gold circle as this is needed for aerial units. Then, you will want the opponent to build an Armoury/Workshop.
 
Afterwards, you will want to build an armoury followed by a trebuchet. Now have the opponent's armoury/workshop fire off an airship/dirigible in the direction of your trebuchet and try to shoot it down. It may take a few tries due to the wide range of the trebuchet combined with the slow reload time. Once you hit the air unit with TNT, the trophy will be yours.

Player:​ Human (Knight with subclass Barbarian recommended for faster cooldown on Trebuchet)
Enemy: ​Any
 
For this one, you will first want to make an armoury followed by a trebuchet so you can fire it. Using outposts to extend your reach is not recommended as you will need a fair amount of distance for this trophy.
 
Afterwards, I recommend letting off a full power shot with the Trebuchet to get a general idea of where you should have the opponent build towers. Afterwards, have the opponent build a bunch of towers in the general area where you fired the Trebuchet earlier as close together as possible. If you want, you can also have the towers turn on one another to get their health down for quicker killing.
 
Afterwards, just have your trebuchet fire at the enemy towers, making sure to pull back fully each time, until one of them is destroyed, earning you the trophy.

Caught a cow with a dragon
 
Player: ​Human (Any)
Enemy: ​Any
 
For this trophy, you will first want to create a chain of outposts such that one is in a gold circle and one is in a gem circle as you will need both in order to create a hatchery.
 
Afterwards, build a chain of outposts near a cow on the ground and then build an armoury followed by a hatchery. Now fire a dragon at the cow and the dragon should hopefully pick it up, giving you the trophy.​​​​​​

Destroyed 10 units with a single TNT
 
Player: ​Human (Any)
Enemy: ​Any (Lizard Knight with Berserker recommended for faster unit spawn times)
 
Note: ​Precision Aiming is highly recommended for this trophy due to the terribly small radius of the TNT as well as the fact that a 0% power shot can be quite tricky to pull off with slingshot controls.
 
Follow the tips under Winter War​ to trap a bunch of lizards in at once.

Afterwards, make your chain of outposts such that they are all ridiculously close to one another. Afterwards, destroy one of the outposts keeping the lizards in. By doing this, you will get them to go after your outpost chain. Once 10 or more of them are bundled as a result of this, let off a TNT from the current target at 0% power and it should take out 10 of them, earning you your trophy.

For this one, you will want to have the opponent build a chain of towers such that one of them is near your keep. Afterwards, you will want to try to build towers on their tower. This will lead to your tower not being built and the opponent's tower suffering damage. Simply destroy an enemy tower this way and you'll be a trophy richer.​​​​​​

Note: ​I recommend going into the Options menu and setting your controls to Precision as this will make it much easier to obtain this trophy.​​​
 
For this trophy, you will want to have both you and the enemy build a string of outposts such that the last outposts in each chain are near one another. Afterwards, get both down to 2 health blocks. Now you will want to set up both outposts so that they are aimed at the other (this is where Precision controls come in handy). Finally, have the opponent fire at you and then fire at the opponent right afterwards. Assuming you did it right, both your tower and the opponent's tower should be down, getting you the trophy.

Get 5 tower kills by destroying the tower it is linked to

Enemy: Any

This trophy is very simple. Have your opponent build a string of six towers in such a way that you can build a tower near their keep. Afterwards, keep building outposts until you have one that can easily take out the opponent's keep. Destroy the enemy's keep afterwards and this should destroy every tower in the chain and pop the trophy for you.

For this one, you will first want to build a chain of towers such that you are near a cow. Afterwards, build a temple followed by a totem. Now just use the totem to fire a Madness spell at the cow and it will go mad (and explosive), earning you your trophy.​​​​​​​​​

Chained 4 towers with a single Hex Curse
 
Player: ​Lizard (Any)
Enemy: ​Any
 
In order to do this, you will have to make a single hex jump towers four times. The recommended method of doing this is to have the opponent make a straight chain of five towers and get the four lowest towers down to 1 or 2 blocks of health.​​​​ so they can all be taken out with one projectile each. I recommend using outposts so you can have them turn on each other with TNT instead of having to use your own projectiles, which can make the whole process a lot more annoying.
 
After this, on your side, you will first have to get an outpost within a circle of gold as this is required to fire off a hex. Afterwards, you will need to build a temple followed by a totem in order to have access to hexes. Use outposts to get closer to the opponent's chain of towers before building the temple and totem. Afterwards, after making sure that the opponent's tower chain is weak enough to fall to one projectile each, fire a hex at the last tower in the opponent's chain. Afterwards, have the opponent pick off their own towers in the chain one by one by having a tower take out the one below it. As a tower is taken out, it should jump to the next in line, which should be the one the opponent is using to take out the last one. Keep in mind that the opponent will have 15 seconds between each jump to destroy the hexed tower before the hex wears off and they have to start over. Once the hex has reached the fifth tower, the trophy will pop.

Hit 8 friendly units with the Haste spell
 
Player: ​Human (Any)
Enemy: ​Any
 
For this one, you should first build a chain of five outposts such that they form a square with the first and last outposts almost touching one another. Make sure to use full power on the shots as you will have to build several buildings within the area. Afterwards, build a garrison followed by a barracks from each of the four outposts. Only two are really necessary, but it will go faster with four so you can spawn at a higher rate. If you built everything correctly, the humans should have no way to escape.
 
After this, build a chain of outposts that goes to a circle of gold so you have access to the haste spell. After this, build a library followed by a spire from any of the four square outposts and then fire a haste spell into the area after making sure you have at least 8 units (though the maximum of 15 is preferable). After you fire the spell and hit at least 8 of your own units, the trophy should pop.

Hit 10 enemy units with the Freeze spell
 
Player:​ Human (any)
Enemy:​ Lizard (Warrior with a subclass of Berserker recommended for faster spawning of units)
 
For this one, you will want to first have the opponent chain five outposts such that they form a square​​​​​​ or some other closed shape with the first and last outposts almost touching one another. Make sure to use full power on the shots as the opponent will have to build several buildings within the area. Afterwards, have your opponent build a war camp followed by a barracks from each of the four outposts. Only two are really necessary, but it will go faster with four so you can spawn at a higher rate. If you built everything correctly, the lizards should have no way to escape and will likely be standing still as a result.
 
Afterwards, as the humans, build outposts until you get near the enemy, making sure to get an outpost within a gem circle along the way as this is required to fire off a freeze spell. Once you are near the trapped lizards, make a library followed by a spire to have access to the freeze spell. Now check the enemy's unit count and make sure it is at least up to 10, though having it maxed at 15 is preferable. Now just fire the freeze spell into the area where the lizards are trapped and you should hit at least 10 of them at once, earning you the trophy.

I think for the Got Milk trophy it is Barracks not Armory.

I think for the Got Milk trophy it is Barracks not Armory.

I think for the Got Milk trophy it is Barracks not Armory.

IIRC, the barracks can't actually build anything and are unselectable, so it's definitely the armoury.

 

 

 

Its the Garrison.  I knew it wasn't the Armory because i tried that and did not work.
