Introduction:
Welcome to Monster Monpiece, a fighting card game. In this game, you have to use the monster girl cards which are collected from treasure on the map or bought from shop to fight with other enemies. Battle is turn-based and takes place on a 7x3 grid where you can place your cards. The game is similar to popular card game Yu-Gi-Oh!, monster girls are summoned every time you place their cards on the field. There are 4 types of cards in the game:

1. Melee: High attack and HP (good offensive)
2. Ranged: High attack but low HP, can hit the enemy from far (good defensive)
3. Healer: Low attack and HP, this is support unit who can heal allies (depend on amount of MP)
4. Buffer: This unit is used to buff ally's attack (depend on on amount of INT)

While playing this game, you should pay attention to First Crush ♡ rubs! trophies. If you have enough Rub P, you should power up your monster girls so they can survive in the battle as long as they can. Make sure you don't damage your Vita while doing this.

Overall, it's fun and easy game. Have fun .

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Finish online trophies (only if you have a partner):
The reason you should play online mode first because you have a chance to receive rare cards and ton of Rub P + Gold. It will help you to beat the game easily later. After you finish some tutorials in the game then you can use the online function. You can skip this step for now if you don't have a partner.

Step 2: Finish the story:
After you get some rare cards from online battles, now you have to play the story mode. You can ignore almost all battles if you have the 100 offline battles trophy. For an easy win, you can use only Melee and Healers. You also need to fuse some Melee units so they can survive until they reach the enemy's HQ (with the help from Healers). 3 fusion Melee and 3 Healer units in 3 row, if your Melee units can 1 hit kill the enemies then this set up will guarantee win for every battle except some boss fights since they have strong cards. Don't forget to use the same card color so you can boost Mana and your unit's ATK & HP. If you skipped step 1 then you have to play online mode in this step.

Step 3: Clear the last area: Si Ku Ork:
This area is unlocked after you beat the story. The enemies are tough in this area, make sure you have some strong cards with Phase 2 or 3. The enemies will have 10 Mana and HQ durability: 4 at the start of the match. You can ignore the other routes, just go for the route which lead to the gates.

In this step, you will unlock this trophy:

Step 4: First Crush ♡ rubs! grinding and collecting 500 kinds of card:
Here is the most time consuming and tiring task in the game. After you finish 200 online battles (boost with a partner) then you have enough Rub P to do these trophies. Make sure you buy some Card Packs in the shop so you can get new monster girl cards. Equip 40 different kinds of cards (Phase 1) in your deck, then use Rub P to "rub" these girls until you get Phase 3 cards. By doing this, you have 80 successful First Crush ♡ rubs! and 120 cards (including Phase 1 cards) for the card collector trophy, keep changing new cards after you finish your deck.

_ Pilca doesn't have strong cards except Kamaitachi PS: 2 (Ranged unit with ATK 5). However, you can finish this monster girl easily if you have any card with ATK: 3 because she only has 3 HP.

_ Sayatia will summon Wyvern card as soon as she has at least 7 Mana. It's a strong card (ATK: 6 and HP: 6) because this monster girl has high attack and can counter attack if attacked. However, she will lose 1 HP very turn, so you should let her go to your territory until she has 3-4 HP left then finish her with your Melee unit.

Okinava Cleared

Clear Chapter 7: Energetic Phoenix by defeating Neff at Okinava.

_ Neff has some strong cards such as Wyvern and Ogre (can counter attack but can't move). She usually uses her Ogre card to defend her HQ, so you need a fusion Melee/Ranged unit and a Healer to back up since Ogre card has high ATK and HP.

Tokio Cleared

Clear Chapter 8: The Third Punishment by defeat (Lost) Elza at Tokio.
* HQ's durability: 3

_ Elza doesn't have strong cards, however, she tends to summon the same card color aura to boost her unit's stat and Mana.

Story-event battle with Clairdia
This is an event battle, you don't need to win. However, you can try if you want, she has 80+ Mana, HQ's durability: 9, and a lot of strong Melee cards.

Si Ku Ork Cleared
Si Ku Ork area cleared!

Spoiler

This ares in unlocked after you finish the story by defeating Clairdia at Si Ku Ork. The fights are tough in this area, however, you can clear them with your current cards which you used to defeat Clairdia. The trophy will pop up after you defeat Leanne.
* HQ's durability: 3
* Starting Mana: 40
* 40 cards: 19 Melee, 11 Ranged, 8 Healer, and 2 Buffer
_ Leanne has many strong cards and tends to fuse them, she usually ignore your units and run toward your HQ. You should let her strong units attack your HQ twice since they have 20+ ATK and HP. She will pass a few turns since strong cards require high Mana. You will receive a cool CG after you defeat her.

You will unlock this trophy after you defeat Elza in the practice battle with her during Chapter 1.

There are many ways to acquire cards in this game:

This is the most time consuming trophy in the game since you need to get 500 different type of cards. There are over 1000 different cards in the game. If you have some rare card you can "rub" them to get Phase 2 or 3 (some of them requires Seal Stone which you can buy them from shop or trading if you have complete Master Rings online)

For example:
Skeleton PS1 => Skeleton PS2 => Skeleton PS3
Skeleton +1 PS1 => Skeleton +1 PS2 => Skeleton +1 PS3
Skeleton +2 PS1 => Skeleton +2 PS2 => Skeleton +2 PS3
After you "rub" them to phase 3 you have 9 different kinds of cards in total.

Some cards have -1, when you "rub" it to phase 4, it will convert to a new monster girl card. You can check your progress in Gallery then press to switch to display call cards. There are 6 cards in a row, it means you need around 83 rows + 2 cards to get this trophy. You don't need to have 500 cards at once, just sell any card you don't need so you can have more Gold to buy other card packs. You can check the booster pack to know which cards you need.


Flawless Victory
Won a card battle with 0 damage!

The damage is determined by if the enemy's monster girls attack your HQ. You will get it early in the game since most of the enemies are easy to defeat before they can reach your HQ.

Training is a mode that allows you fight any enemy who you've fought before, it will give you Rub B and money if you win the battle. You can access Training mode from Card Gym.

This feature is unlocked as the story progress where you have to "rub" Fia to power her up. The trophy will unlock after you perform First Crush ♡ rub! with her.

This is the best feature in the game since you must use it to defeat the bosses  easily. A fusion occurs when a unit is summoned onto a unit that is the same species (such as Dragon - Dragon, or Bird - Bird). You can fuse your units in enemy territory.

You can fight with other players by using a network or Ad-hoc. Go to Network then pick one of these options: Ad hoc Battle or Network Battle. You can access any lounge then you can create or join any available room. This trophy will pop up after you join a fight.

There are 6 different rings (purple, blue, green, white, red, and golden) in online mode. To complete a master ring, you need to have all 6 rings at once, after that you can trade master ring for one of following items: Rare Card Pack, 1 of 6 Seal Stones, and specific amount of Rub B. I recommend you choosing Rare Card Pack since you need more cards for the 500 kinds of cards trophy, Seal Stone can be purchased in-game shop (or on PS Store) so they are not really rare. You should ignore Rub B since you will have many of them while boosting for 100 online battles. You will receive a random ring every time you finish an online match (2 rings if you win), because it's random so it will take more than 150 matches to complete 20 master rings.

Clear Final Chapter: Land of Oblivion by defeating Clairdia at Si Ku Ork.
* HQ's durability: 3 and Mana: 20+
* 40 cards: 16 Melee, 10 Ranged, 8 Healer, and 6 Buffer
_ You must collect Fragments of Ouroboros pieces in every area during Chapter 9: Star of Hope.
_ After you have all Fragments of Ouroboros pieces then you can go to Si Ku Ork to defeat Clairdia. She has some strong cards such as:
* Pegaus PS: 3 (ATK 9, HP 6)
* Qinglong PS: 2 (ATK 6, HP 12)
* Titan PS: 3 (ATK 6, HP 11)
_ Because she always summons high Mana cards, she will pass a few turns. You can let 1-2 strong enemies to attack your HQ so you can eliminate some weaklings. If you have a hard time with this battle, you can use items such as:
* Divine Exorcism: Decrease all enemy unit's stats by 4 (cost 7000 G).
* Divine Spirit Mist: Increase all your unit's Attack by 6 (cost 7500 G).
* LGD Shock Scroll: Inflict 3 damage to all enemy units (cost 7500 G).

Please take note that you can't access Areas After Punishment after you defeat the final boss, so make sure you collect every rare card and treasure before defeat her. All Areas Before Punishment are available after you beat the game.

10K Titan
Your Rub P stock has exceeded 10000!

Rub P is needed to power monster girls up. You can get them after you finish offline or online battle. If you boost 100 win online battles (200 in total for both players), you will get around 180,000 Rub P. Don't ever spend your real money to buy Rub P on PS Store to get this trophy earlier, it's waste of money since Rub P is easy to get in the game.

Genius of Love
Triggered extreme love 100 times!

Extreme love triggers if you rub monster girl's weak points (pink heart). Every monster girl has different weak points. You have to hold the Vita vertically then keep rubbing the girl from both sides of the Vita. This trophy will come naturally while you do Ladykiller (G)(H). Please take note that sometime you can trigger extreme love 3 or 4 times during a rubbing, it counts toward to the trophy.

Irresistible Force
Won 10 online battles in a row!

You have to win 10 online battles in a row. It's easy if you have a partner, create a room with a password since anyone can join in your room. Then take turns to win 10 battles in a row. Please check Boosting Thread to look for a partner.

Ladykiller
300 successful First Crush ♡ rubs!

If you go for Monpiece Hall of Famer   then you can receive ~ 180,000 Rub P. It will take around 55,000 Rub P to rub 300 monster girls. There is a gauge bar on the left side of the screen to let you know how the girl feels, the First Crush ♡ rubs! is successful if the gauge bar is at maximum. To succeed these rubbings, you should hold the Vita vertically, then use at least 3 fingers to rub on the screen. If you see there are some stars or hearts that have popped up, then you need to touch those place (with 2-3 fingers), after touching for few second, you have to look for another spot since the girl doesn't feel good anymore if you keep touching same spot. Look for these spots:
+ Chest (mostly)
+ Belly
+ Thigh (mostly)
+ Arm
+ Leg (sometime)
+ Shoulder (sometime)
+ Wings
+ Ear

It usually takes less than 30 seconds to succeed with First Crush ♡ rubs!. Make sure you rub these cards one by one since the trophy requires 300 successful rubs, if you rub multiple cards at once then it's counted as 1 successful rubbing.

If you have a partner, this trophy will take around 2 hours to boost for 200 online matches. Select to forfeit the match (it takes less than 10 seconds). Online battle is good way to boost Rub P, Money, and Rare Cards. You can see your progress under your profile, it has number of wins and current rank. Please check the Boosting Thread to look for a partner.

I wish they released the physical version . I don't want to import the Japanese version just to have the game in my collection then don't play it after that.

sometimes when i do the rub the screen turns pink and says rub fast!!!

how do i know if iam doing it correctly? because nothing happens when i rub fast

 

another question is does it mater how i rub or click the screen? because i get -1 sometimes

so iam not sure if i have to rub or click on specific areas if it matters..

Guide is top notch! Especially that Booster Pack list! 

Oh I found that once you find a girls "sweet spot" tapping on that spot with multiple fingers worked much better for me than rubbing. It made the "rub" go much faster imo.

 

Too bad the game just isnt any fun... and 300 rubs and 500 cards are just silly, grindy numbers. Totally unnecessary. I was soo relieved when I finally got those trophies and all I needed to do was beat the game for the plat. I have no desire to stack this one because I honestly did enjoy it in the end. Too darn bad.
