Flowers have dreams as well. They dream of lush green grasses, soothing breezes and spreading their petals wide open to soak up the warm sun rays. Help the lone flowers caged in their solitary pots realize their dreams and make them blossom.
Starting out as a lone petal you are tasked to gracefully float and touch other flowers to awaken them. It may sound very easy but the catch is, in order to do so you can control your petal only by using motion sensor of your controller. This one single feature makes Flower a unique gaming experience but on top of that it is beautiful and soothing although at times it will challenge you to develop some skill to be able to navigate the terrain or ride the winds with ease.
Immerse yourself in this flowery dream and on the side grab a set of easy trophies.

Step 1: Story Playthrough
Play through the story while trying to unlock Dream specific trophies outlined in a story progression order: Discovery, Palette, Wind, flOw, Illumination, Pure, Urban and Stars.
In each Dream collect three secret flowers to obtain Dream trophy.
Trophies like Memories, Healthy Play and Welcome back can be done at any time.
For details on how to unlock those trophies please see their respective descriptions.
By the end of this step you should have obtained all but one trophy.

Step 2: Clean up
If you missed any trophies or secret flowers revisit the specific Dream(s) to obtain them.
For Nature trophy keep replaying any Dream(s) you like until you have bloomed 10,000 flowers.

Trophy Guide

1Sb542a9.pngDream :gold
Beyond all flowers lies another room.

For this trophy you will need to find all secret flowers in every Dream.
Each Dream has three green secret flowers that either are revealed by blooming all flowers in the area or are somewhat hidden around.
To collect a secret flower you need to bloom it by touching it with your petal.
If you miss any secret flowers you can go back to any particular Dream at any time to collect it.
For the secret flower to count as collected you need to complete the Dream.
You can check how many secret flowers you have collected by looking at respective pots in the main room.
Once you obtain the final secret flower the trophy will unlock upon return to the main room.

For detailed locations of secret flowers please see the videos in the spoiler below

2Sb96ff6.pngNature :silver
Bloom 10,000 flowers.

To bloom flowers you need to touch any unopened flowers with your petal. If you have collected all the other trophies it's best to replay Dream 6 (small pink flower) as it has the most flowers.
Depending on how thorough you have been with blooming flowers in previous Dreams and how many times you replayed certain Dreams for their specific trophies it may take anything between 2 to 8 revisits to Dream 6.
Unfortunately there is no in-game counter so you will need to continue playing until the trophy unlocks upon return to the main room.
***NOTE*** If you quit the Dream before completing it, the count of flowers bloomed in that Dream will be lost.

3S8874c7.pngUrban :silver
Completely awaken the city.

In Dream 6 (small pink flower) for this trophy you need to hit every metal object, bloom enough flowers to color the buildings, color the grass green and touch all playground swings. If done correctly the trophy will unlock upon return to the main room.

For detailed visual walkthrough please see videos Flower trophy walkthrough Dream 6 part 1 and 2 located in Dream trophy description.

4Sd658c1.pngMemories :bronze
Reminisce for three minutes before returning to the room.

As soon as you enter the first Dream (yellow flower) set down the controller and wait for 3 minutes for this trophy to chime in. It can also be done in any other Dream at any time. Additionally to make sure the controller is motionless and the time count is uninterrupted you can press :select which activates a screensaver.

5Sfbab59.pngPalette :bronze
Use the grass as your canvas and paint the ground with three different colors.

In Dream 2 (red flower) once you reach the third area you will see four rock formations. Bloom the flowers to open up the three formations situated at a perimeter of the valley. When they are open fly into the middle of any of them and your petals should change color to that of flowers surrounding the given rock formation. While your petals are colored fly low over the grass to paint it. Next fly to a formation of a different color and repeat until you have used all pink, blue and yellow colors to paint the grass.

6S47bbe7.pngWind :bronze
Play with the windmills and ride the wind seven times.

In Dream 3 (pink flower) in order to progress you will need to bloom flowers to activate the windmills. Once the windmills are activated simply fly into the propellers and allow yourself to be swept by the current. Repeat 7 times until trophy pops. It can be done using the same windmill over again.

7Se51b9b.pngIllumination :bronze
Light a darkened pool.

In Dream 4 (blue flower) there are two ponds that can be illuminated.
In order to collect the third secret flower in that Dream you will have to illuminate a pond in the third area hence it's a perfect place to get that trophy. (For detailed location of the third secret flower please see video walkthrough in Dream trophy description)
When you fly under a lamp post to bloom yellow flowers your petals will aglow. Don't activate the fields that game prompts you to or else you will lose the glow. Instead fly low over the nearby pond and it will illuminate.

8S8c6416.pngPure :bronze
Journey to the city unscathed.

This trophy requires you to complete the 5th Dream (violet flower) without hitting any of the metal construction-like objects or wires.
To proceed through the Dream with minimum risk of hitting anything you don't have to bloom all flowers, only the blue ones that are required to activate the crucial electrical towers which are distinctively marked by orange lights.
In the first area activate the single tower.
In the second area activate 3 towers to open the passage into a maze.
Proceed through the maze carefully avoiding touching any metal obstacles.
Once you see and bloom a small bunch of pink flowers on the ground slow down as much as you can, float up as high as possible and stick hard to the left wall of the canyon to avoid being hit by collapsing metal beams. Touching metal 'stumps' as you go will not harm you. Keep going very slow and continuously stick to the left wall until you reach the opening to the final flat area where the Dream ends thus granting you trophy upon return to the main room.

For visual walkthrough and strategy for the section with collapsing beams please see the video below.

9Sbc371a.pngStars :bronze
Release all of the names to the sky.

In the 7th Dream (picture on the far right) bloom every single flower to release the names of the game creators into the sky. Wait for the additional end credits to roll and the trophy should unlock upon return to the main room.

10Sc2a604.pngflOw :bronze
Life could be simple...

In the 3rd Dream (pink flower) after activating the windmills in the first area you will be snatched be the wind and carried via a winding canyon. Make sure to stick to the left hand side and when you see the canyon take a sharp turn right, on the left wall there will be a cave entrance. Float into that cave and this time stick to the right hand side. If you've done it correctly the current should guide you through a small cave with glowing symbols on the walls thus unlocking the trophy. If you missed the right hand side passage inside the caves you will emerge in the starting field with windmills and you can re-enter the canyon to try again, or if you missed the cave entrance entirely float up high enough to leave the wind current and navigate above the canyon back to the first field to try again.

11Secaf82.pngWelcome Back :bronze :secret
Play the game after a week long break.

Unless you are patient, to obtain this trophy very quickly quit the game and change date settings in XMB menu to at least 7 days ahead. As soon as you run the game and enter the main room the trophy should follow shortly after.

12S983a5d.pngHealthy Play :bronze :secret
Take a ten minute break between any dreams.

After finishing any of the Dreams and before entering another one set down the controller for 10 minutes.

13S0afefd.pngBeginning :bronze :secret
The dream has just started...

Story related and cannot be missed. Complete the first Dream (yellow flower). The trophy will unlock upon return to the main room.

14Sa34d33.pngDiscovery :bronze :secret
Find and bloom a secret flower.

The very first secret flower can be found in the first area of the yellow flower Dream. Bloom all flowers by touching them to reveal the location of the secret flower and then bloom it by touching it with your petal.

Looks good :).  Now I need to go back and finish this (stupid world 6 and having to beat it without getting hit) so I will use this.

that stage was very traumatic especially when compared to the rest of the peaceful game.

flow was just them getting ready for flower.  flower was just a precursor for journey.  can't wait for the next one!

i haven't played flow but you are right journey has been even better, they managed to really acheive that peaceful meditative feeling although if you remember there was a part in journey with 2 monsters that were scary cos they could tear off your scarf so the element of danger had been present as well but not as traumatic as in flower

i too hope that they will make another game like this and if possible it will be even more breathtaking and captivating :rainbow
