From the looks of the shoutbox a few people saw last night's episode, was that crazy or what?  I still cannot believe Robb and just about most of the people from Winterfell or people that followed him is now dead.

Alot of good people have died so my hopes now lie with Khaleesi because it seems she is all that is left.

By the way can we assume the guy died after he got married last night or did he let him live because he married his daughter?

Watched it this morning and was blown away.

Don't rule the Starks out completely you have Bran and Rickon out there out of the way. Sansa is safe with Tyrion who is becoming increasingly disconcerted with his father. Ayra is out in the wilderness but definitely has friends. Although they aren't in the driving seat there is still a way to go with them.

The Lannisters are all starting to have ill feeling towards their father at the moment. Jamie is down and clearly losing is heart to someone he never thought he could. Tyrion is an absolute legend and clearly hates his father and what with Cersei now being royally fucked over a left to wed a gay pretty boy her alliance to her father must seriously be in question. As for Joffrey the little bastard is set to die at any point anyway i just can't wait for the moment it happens.

I am honestly surprised Tywin has let Joffrey go about his ways.  I am with you, I am assuming at some point he is going to die because Tywin's characters is meant to lead.  I know the other starks are out there, its just right now they have nothing that Robb had. Although it seems it did not take Robb long to be "king of the north".

I am loving Tyrion as well, its seems ever since Jamie lost his hand he has gotten a big set of balls knowing he is the dominant son for the lannisters. It seems every moment he is trying to piss off his father.

I read the books so I knew this was going to happen and I kept a sly smile on my face as others went ahead to watch this episode.
The amount of rage that was on my Facebook feeds made it all worth it haha

Have the books ended or is that still in progress?

If the books have ended, I am just curious where we are in correlation with the books.  Half way, less, etc.

Na.... Mr. Martin has not finished the series since we are in the third book
of a series of seven total books he is writing. 5 books are already written
We readers are just hoping he won't die anytime soon
and keep writing till he finishes all he wants to write.

The Hound has always been one of my favorite characters.  Although he has always served as a soldier, he never had an issue speaking his mind and doing his own thing.

When he saved Sansa, he completely won me over.

I also love Arya Stark.  She has always been the badass of the Stark family.

The most improved for me though has to be Jamie Lannister.  I am very interested in the role he will play because he seemed to be turning his character in a different direction

Ya, I haven't read the books but knew the Red Wedding was coming, but what floors me is how much misdirection is a part of the storytelling - even with stuff in the show that is different from the books.

In the books, Robb's wife is a completely different character and wasn't present at the wedding.  I was convinced, after the show revealed that his wife in the show, Talisa, was pregnant, that she wouldn't be at the wedding either... or would escape along with the Blackfish... and going forward you would have a legitimate heir to Winterfell and rightful "King of the North" who might go into exile or something.  I dunno what happens to his wife in the books after the Red Wedding, but I figured Talisa's storyline and her storyline would line-up.  Alas, that didn't happen...

The tough part is that basically, the Starks as a house are done for the rest of the series.  Bran and Arya are both turning into freakshows, Sansa is married to a Lannister, and Rickon is far too young to make any difference.

A lot of people are rooting for Danny and her dragons, but if GRRM has any integrity he'll have her suffering soon for all the "freeing the slaves" idealism.  If she gets involved with the Fabio guy, that just makes it worse.  The thing about Game of Thrones, is people always pay for their foolish decisions and ignoring the power game - doesn't matter if they're "bad" or "good".

That was amazing. The 2nd to last episodes are usually the best. Non stop action

I loved the moment where Snow looked at Sansa while he was beating the shit out of Bolton and stopped. Almost like you should be the one doing this and not me
