Thanx to Lord Raiden for sending me this link: http://www.borderlan...e/assassin.html

It shows all the characters skill trees. On the bottom you can switch which characters tree to look at. You can even spend the points just like in the game and see how it all breaks down.

Thanx Raiden for making me want this even more. It's becoming unhealthy ^_^

The assassin looks intresting,

The commando looks too classic and very similar to the soldier in borderlands 1.

The gunzerker's gunzerking seems to be a lot of fun, As i always play shooter Rambo style, i'm pretty sure that i will use that guy.

Yeah the soldier is similar to the first one but that's why I'm using that class again. The turret will be the most useful special just like it was in the first game. This time you can place the turret on walls! That's krazy.

I am leaning towards either the assassin or the siren. I will probably pick assassin, but I am worried that further in the game, melee won't be as useful.

I didn't really enjoy the last game very much, had it not been for Mini i don't think i would have ever gone back to Platting it how ever considering so many of you are likely to be playing it i'm tempted to actually get in on this but have to agree with you Evil. Melee WILL be redundant as the game progresses so i'd lean towards the soldier or assassin.

Well assassin has a lot of skills set for melee, so you may not want to be assassin.

Also, I want to see the Mecromancers skills. I have only heard a little about her, but she might be pretty kick-ass (even if you dont get her until October).

This is probably what I will do as well. I actually liked Lilith's phasewalk from the last game, which was more or less melee. If you can upgrade the assassin's abilities in any sort of similar fashion to the phasewalk, there will be splash damage and I honestly found that more useful that I thought I would. Can't wait for the game to come out.

I am actually going to get all the character specific trophies first and after those are up, I will pick who I go with. I'm pretty sure it's going to be one of the two you mentioned.

This is how I played the first game. Made it easy to get a feel of the abilities. I was actually Mordecai because I liked sniping, but did play Lillith for a while. Zero seems to mix everyhting I like togehter :)

I did the US version as Lilith and JP as Mordecai. The bloodhawk (or bloodwing?) was awesome by the time I had fully leveled.

The character specific trophies worry me on this one. The siren and commando will be fine. For the gunzerker you need to have the ability unleashed for 90 seconds continuously. Looks like the middle path is what you want, but it also looks like you may have to get to a decent level to make 90 seconds possible. Of course it really depends on how this works in the game, maybe it lasts longer than I think it does.

Then for Zero you have to use his 10 seconds continuously. That seems easy in my head, but again, all depends on how it works.

Duh... Yeah, I didn't even think like that, you're right. Looks like level 25 for the gunzerker can get you the max ability to get the most time out of his ability.

When i went on with RD, Fux and Cars I was level 1. They disappeared off into the distance and killed a rakk and by the time the mission was over i'd fuck all except fire my gun twice, get killed by a bloody spider numerous times and i was level 16.

Here is info on the DLC character. I wonder if it will add trophies. For 9.99 and a character, you'd hope so.

http://www.pushsquar...PushSquare.com

Borderlands 2’s downloadable Mechromancer character class will fire into the first-person shooter on 16th October, publisher 2K Games has announced. The character – officially named Gaige – will be available as a free download to anyone that pre-orders the title. Everyone else will have to pay £7.99/$9.99.

Gaige’s robotic arm will allow you to summon a tank which can be used to dispatch all manner of foes. Skags beware
