Think more of arcade style Baseball or NBA Jam instead of the MLB 2k or MLB the Show style baseball.

***Become a Legend Mode***
"Become a Legend Mode" is your chance to learn the ropes. This is the longest mode in the game. If you try and change the difficulty to EASY during a game. It says that trophies won't pop. This is the case for most of the trophies. HOWEVER if you chance the difficulty in the Main Menu it will not effect your trophies. This mode has 4 seasons.
You start with 4 quick challenges. They are play the tutorial game. A hitting challenge, a fielding challenge, and then beat Mexico. You will then get called up to the Majors and pick your MLB team (I choose BSOX). Speed and Pitching is King in this game. If you can pitch you will win. Once you get the pitching timing down. You will be fine. And once you play as a MLB team instead of Mexico. Mexico is terrible and hard to play with. BSOX are great. My game plan was always. Lead off with a hit by Ellsbury. Ellsbury is super fast. Steal 2nd and 3rd if needed and then hit a ground ball to right side of the infield to score him. Spend the rest of the game bunting and striking the CPU out. Once you have 100k or 125k you can get a few more runs with Big Blast or Big Slam. Then continue bunting till end of game. If you don't start the game with a hit with Ellsbury restart. Really any team with a Super Speed Demon and a Strong SP will work. (BSOX, Philly, Texas, etc).

Season 1: Teams to play against were vs Seattle, Kansas City and Baltimore. Each team has a 3 part challenges. After the third, you get to steal a player from that team. Seattle choose Ichiro, Baltimore choose B. Roberts. And KC I choose Olivio. Doesn't matter. After you beat your first team you can go to your Hometown (BSOX) and work on your players Attributes with various mini games. I recommend doing that. Once you finish beating all 3 teams the season ends and you head to the Off Season. You can play one of the Cooperstown challenges now, but I choose to wait. Doesn't matter yet.

Off Season 1: During the Off Season you Go to Japan, Play 2 games against them, and play a game of Pinball. You will need 250k to win. You wil also have a chance to grab Slay the Brute here.

Season 2: Starts off with more of the same. The three teams this season wereSF, Toronto, and Detroit. I would steal Lincecum (SF), Halladay (TOR), and MIGS (DET). Toronto, Detroit and Kansas City player steals don't really matter so much. Chances are you are going to Use Lincecum to pitch every game now. Play Ichiro in RF and B. Roberts at 2b. You can only use 3 stolen players per game. So choice wisely. A few more Cooperstown challenges will also be available now. But I STILL recommend waiting. Once I finished beating all three teams I got traded to the Phillies and had to play 7 games to win the World Series. I lost my stolen players but you don't really need them if you are playing on EASY. This ended Season 2 for me.

Off Season 2: Beat Vlad in Las Vegas Pin Ball, You will resign with your original squad, and also Beat Arod in Times Square Pinball.

Season 3: The teams here to beat are the WSOX and Texas. During the course of the season you will also unlock the METS, OAK, and MINN. Like I said before it doesn't matter who you steal. You can only use 3 stolen players per game. Its up to you. I took Alesxi Ramirez (WSOX), Ian Kinsler (TEX), Matt Holliday (OAK), and David Wright (METS). Four more mini games will open by end of season. And a total 7 of the Cooperstown games will also be available. When you get to the All-Star game part of the season, you play HR Derby vs Berkman. Aim for the 5k and 10 k signs. Once you reach 100k hit Big Blast (R1 + L1) for the billboard crushing win. The season ends when you beat MINN. But you don't get to steal a player from them.

Off Season 3: Starts with you playing against Mexico again. Beat them and get Mexico Complete. After beating Mexico you go back to Japan. Beat them and get Japan Complete. This is also a good time to go for Penultimate Perfection and Textbook Perfection vs Mexico or Japan. Johan is a Stud. Funny part is I didn't realize I had a perfect game vs Japan till the trophies popped.

Season 4: You only play 1 game each vs NYY, CLEV, MINN, TB, and LAA on your way to the postseason. Then play the postseason consisting of 9 games. Ending by having to beat the Brew Crew in the World Series. Upon beating them your player retires. NOW, is the time to go to Cooperstown and beat the challenges there.

Retirement: After you get 500 HOF points from beating the HOF challenges, you are inducted in to the HOF. Here is were you can play the challenges and get Steal Reggie Jackson, Steal Ozzie Smith, Steal Dave Winfield, Steal Ryne Sandberg, Steal Wade Boggs, and play 4 games vs Babe Ruth. Make sure you strike him out in the 1st game and get Legendary Strikeout. I can confirm that low and away Fastballs with BIG HEAT works great to strike out Ruth. Once you steal the 5 challenges and beat Ruth 4 times, Become a Legend will pop. This also unlocks Retro Time Square so try for Happy New Year while playing Pinball vs Ruth and then Legend Mode is finished.

Is that the only hard part of the game?

Well there are some tricky parts of the career mode but nothing that's really not doable I don't think. My buddy and I have been playing through it on his file whenever we hang out and I'm just gonna use the save file from the end of the career so I can beat the legends without having to play through the entire career again. I think there's 4 years of the career mode and you get most of the trophies at the end and a couple in the beginning so there's no point in replaying the middle years (IIRC). The pinball however is a pain in the ass because they don't throw you batting practice balls, they throw curves and sliders and stuff. I'm best at pitching, not hitting, and even my buddy is having a hard time and we've been playing baseball games since we were 5. It's just hard to pick up on the pitcher's change ups in pinball and there are no help videos or anything on the internet. I'm dreading the 2,000,000 points co op trophy in that game but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it I guess. Hopefully J4 can give some tips.

Btw, we should really boost those online trophies sometime. I always like getting the online done and out of the way for older games.

Well I'm back to being an idiot and starting like 10 games at once so I'm not in a hurry. I'm just eager to read any tips you have on getting big scores in pinball.

I just finished the World Series and got myself into the HOF. Now I need to beat Ozzie, Ryno, Reggie, Boggs, Winfield, and Ruth 4 times. Guide is updated throw the end of Legend mode. I still haven't got to pinball yet.
