Start the game on hard and go ahead and playthrough the game. You are really trying to 5-star as many missions as possible, but you can replay missions whenever you want so nothing is missable. There is a problem with one trophy and it is Storm Shattered. The problem is the trophy does not unlock until you beat the stage and if you die, you will lose it forever. I recommend on the 3 stages you face him, turn the game to easy mode. On easy mode, you cannot die so you cannot be effected by the glitch.

Hardcore G.I. Joe

This is a storyline trophy and you will receive this automatically if you play on hard mode. The only thing hard about this trophy is if you die, you are not revived and you now have to play through with one remaining character. One thing to keep in mind is the CPU will never die so take advantage of switching characters. If you are close to dying, switch your character and let the other one heal up. Keep doing this back and forth and you will never fail .




\Storm Shattered
Defeat Storm Shadow in all three secret arenas


You will face Storm Shadow in Arctic Arsenal Deckhouse 6, Desert Jewel Robot, and Jungle Fuel Sludge. In the Arctic zone he is at the end so you will not miss that, but in the other two places he is optional. If you follow the guide in the roadmap, it will show where to go to face him. In the Desert and Jungle stages he can glitch. If you die and get a game over after you beat him, you will not be able to get this trophy or any other trophy related to it. To prevent this from happening, play on easy mode when you play on those 2 stages. When you play on casual, you cannot die or fail a mission and it will ensure you get the trophy and your game does not glitch. You can play on hard if you like, but you are taking a very very unnecessary risk.

Perform 10 barrel rolls in unison in any level in co-op

Complete mission with higher than 50% Dual Targeting kills

You can do Co-op with two controllers so just pick an easy mission, I would chose the very first one, and complete it. Make sure to do barrel rolls with the button in unison and you will get that trophy out of the way in a minute or two.

Dual Targeting kills are when you and another player kill the same thing while highlighted on it. You will notice player 1 is a certain color and player 2 is a different color. What you want to do is kill everything with both colors on that enemy. Obviously you only need 50% kills this way so you have tons of leeway. You can boost this yourself although a 2nd person will make it go quicker.

The missions are at Arctic Arsenal's Cliff's Edge, Desert Jewel's Rise, and Jungle Fuel's Primal Shrine. Arctic and Jungle are really easy while Desert Jewel is borderline frustrating. There is a nice trick that I used for both platinums and that is doing this mission in co-op. What you need to do is hammer away with the button on both controllers and if you do it in the same spot, it will cause a massive supernova. Do this in the middle of the screen maybe slightly downward and you will kill everything really easy.




Hack 'n Slash
Finish a level using only melee attacks on ground troops

Doing this on the very first mission is very easy, just melee everything you can. Again, it doesn't have to be everything, just the ground troops.




Sloppy Joe
Achieve the worst rank on a level without going man down

Start up Desert Jewel Rise mission on easy mode and just barrel roll through the whole level. You can actually skip everything and as long as you finish the episode under 180,000, you will get the trophy. REMEMBER YOU CAN'T DIE.




Man Up
Complete a Jungle or Tundra mission without going Man Down


There are 4 worlds and Jungle and Tundra are the last two. Just pick any mission and play on easy and you will get it although you will probably unlock it during your hard run.




Higher Score
Replay a mission and earn a higher score


As it says, you will get a higher score by replaying a mission and getting a higher score. If you follow the guide, you will get this when you replay one of the two storm shadow missions on hard mode. That is if you don't get it earlier than that.




Launch Money
Launch 50 enemies into the air and kill them


Hold the button and let it go to knock someone in the air. Shoot him up to keep him in the air and kill him. Do 50 kills like this and the trophy is yours.




Acceleration Celebration
Activate the Accelerator Suit three times in any mission

You will probably get this naturally but press the button three times during the game when your suit is charged up and you will get the trophy.




Accomplished Mission
Gain the Highest Mission Ranking

Just get a 5 star rank in any mission and you will get this.




Half the Battle
Collect 50% of all File Cards

The three multipliers are X2, X3, and X5. They seem to appear randomly but you will get this during your hard playthrough so do not worry. On one of my plats, I got it done on the first mission.

The great thing about this trophy is you don't need to 5 rank every mission. You can actually miss about 7 or 8 badges so if a stage is frustrating you, move on. Once you unlock all the contacts, you will get this trophy. This will probably be the last trophy you get before the platinum.

The important thing to remember is both characters need to survive. Although you can finish with just one, your score tanks the moment one of them dies so don't let that happen. A good combo I always loved is a heavy class + Ripcord. Ripcord has an awesome special move where he drops a turret that fires on the enemy. So you can drop one or two and run away and cause alot of chaos.

Another thing you can use is the invincibility glitch with Agent Felix. If you have two shields, use one of them on Agent Felix. The moment it starts flashing that it is wearing off, use the second one and you now glitched agent felix. To my knowledge it only works with him but what does it matter, you can only die now by melee damage. So laugh your ass off when rocket launchers and grenades hit you for zero damage.
