MISSABLE TROPHIES
Some text will appear on-screen with :triangle next to it. These are highly missable. You must interact with every single one of these for trophies. The clues themselves are recorded for gameplay purposes, but the action of pressing :triangle is needed. Rewinding does not work. If you miss one, either turn off the game immediately and hope your autosave is before the scene, OR, wait until finishing the game and use Chapter Select to replay the chapter, fast-forwarding where necessary.
Option 1: As soon as you see these coming up in the guide, pay attention to the game. You may also anticipate when the clue may appear. For example, if the clue mentions a corridor, it'll likely pop up when the scene takes place in a corridor.
Option 2: Mash :triangle for the entire section.

You can change anything you want in Options. Absolutely nothing in this game is skippable, to the point where you may as well play it for real. You can fast forward through scenes you've already seen.

PROLOGUE: The Cherry Blossom Ceremony

TROPHY #1 The Cherry Blossom Ceremony

Gameplay begins after the scene with a woman and man standing in the middle of a row of images.

REASONING
- Navigate to the last scene on the timeline with :r1
- Grab the "Clue" square with :r2 and move it to the lower left grey space.
- Grab the "Complete" square and move it to the grey space.

TROPHY #2 Rookie Sleuth
TROPHY #3 A Flash of Insight

2) What's most important? (hold down indicated button)

From here I will simpify things. Cycle through scenes on the timeline to find 'Clues' and drag it to an empty grey slot. Each collection of squares is called a 'Mystery.' You'll notice the triangle patterns on the Clue and Mystery squares. Use these to figure out where to place a Clue.

Mystery: Proof that Yoko is Eiji's stepmother?
Clue: I'm glad there was a spare kimono for him.
Clue: So does he come up with the crime tricks too?

The new squares you create from each clue are called 'hypotheses,' of which you need to create ALL of them to get trophies, even ones unrelated to the story.

Mystery: Reasoning
Clue: Complete

1) There seemed to be some distance between you two.
2) The identity of the killer from a hundred years ago, right?
2) Kaku-no-kono?
1) Of course!
1) This guy must have zero friends...

!! On-screen Clues are coming up. Simply press :triangle.

On-screen Clue: Not that you look any better in a lab coat.
On-screen Clue: And you must be the best-selling writer.

TROPHY #4 Novice Observer

1) I'm indebted to Eiji for all his help.

Mystery: Has Ryoei heard of Haruka?
Clue: And you must be the best-selling writer.
Clue: Not that you look any better any better in a lab coat.

Mystery: Reasoning
Clue: Complete

2) He doesn't know I'm a mystery writer.
